82GS1100GL use the same battery as an 1100E?

Does anyone know if the 1100GL and 1100E use the same battery?

Mine is due for a replacement and I would like to go with a big crank battery, but want to ensure that I order the right one.

You want the ETX15L. They both use the same big crank battery.

I saw where the site said that it fits, but you know how that goes, it ships home and then it doesn't fit. I just wanted to hear it from an actually user.

I dont have any specific expereince with the battery for an E.
But will say that it "Fitting" is one concern.

Other concern might be if the + and the - are on the correct side.

Well it should be here Tues or Wednesday, so if it fits, I'll be sure to let the rest of the 1100 8v L owners know.
