No, that's the sig gen for your electronic ignition. That leads to a small black box called an ignitor somewhere on your bike. On my 82 550L it's on the underside of the airbox. The ignitor controls the grounds for the coils. The sig gen tells it when to fire.
Errr, I should say it WAS on the underside of my airbox. It's in Maryland now on someone else's bike. I have a Dyna S which replaces both the Sig gen and the ignitor.Comment
