Rewire

I have a 82 gs650 and would like to pull all the wiring out and start again... Want to go with a simple 5 wire system or so.. If any one has any recommdation on how to accomplish such a feat. Please advise..

Somewhere around here Mr. posplayr drew up a simplified diagram for the GS550. I'll let you search for it.

And the reason you want to do this is........? are you only going to need the basics, i.e. the ignition?
