So I followed the wires to my kill switch and they go underneath the gas tank above the top bar on the frame. So I will have to pull the tank to check that. But I do have to ask.... would this cause my, no power at all condition? I am looking at the wiring diagram and the kill switch it looks like it is after the ignition switch and would only affect the ignition/coil. I have absolutely no power at all to the bike, I turn the key and it does absolutely nothing at all. If I have to pull the tank I will, but I have to drain the tank so that will have to wait until tomorrow after work. So could there be something else I can check in the mean time?Originally posted by TheCafeKid View Post

Hi,Originally posted by mrmech82 View PostAnd how do I test my ignitor?
I found these on some guy's website.
Igniter/Signal Generator/Coil Test
Igniter Repair/Testing (2MB PDF)
You'll also find a full Suzuki Service Manual on that guy's website, in PDF format with bookmarks and everything.
Thank you for your indulgence,

Thank you for the links, that will help a lot. When I get power to the bike.
For testing purposes can I just jumper the orange wire to the red wire at my ignition to get power to the rest of the bike? Or could I cause more damage by doing this?
I just want to be able to continue testing while I wait for my new ignition switch in the mail. Thanks for all the help!
