    Can anyone identify this part?

    From a 1980 GS1100E. Thanks, Ray.

Here is the other side. The part # is rubbed so I can't read it. It has 4 wires on 1 plug & 2 on the other. Thanks, Ray.

On your first picture, it looks like the bottom plug has a green wire and a blue wire. On my 1100E those two wires would connect to the signal generator.

      I'm guessing that's the igniter.

            "Ignitor" is my guess, too.

That same model ignitor fits a bunch of different bikes too.

I see that you guys spell ignitor with an o instead of an e.

Don't mean to be a party pooper but isn't it actually igniter? Says so on every parts place website online and it even says so on my old GS450 igniter .

                Wooops! Thread jack over.
