Help!!! No power after ignitor replacement!

So, I replaced my ignitor this evening. After everything was put back together (so I thought), I had no power at the dash when I turned the key! No lights, etc. I checked fuses, all looked fine.

Here is my question: What could I have got loose or not hooked up properly, that I have no power at the dash? I checked all of the connectors, and all seemed to be hooked up properly. All worked well prior to doing this project!

I have a ground wire from the r/r going to the bottom left mounting nut of the battery box, I have a ground wire going to the same grounding nut where the r/r ground wire is, returning to the negative battery post, and I have one more ground wire coming from the harness screwed in there. At the negative post, I have the main negative cable, coming from the case ground, and a ground wire going to the frame. On the positive post, I have the wire coming from the starter solenoid.

What am I missing that is preventing power to the dash?

Double check and swap fuses. I've found ones that have blown near the end caps or just marginally that were not obvious...

Probably nothing.

however, a disconnected ground connection is a distinct possibility. find a wiring diagram and see how many grounds are to be connected up to the battery. more than once I've had a ground connection that hid away from sight.

Hey fellas-

So I went back out there after a sandwich and a pop, lol. I was so frustrated, as I knew it was a grounding issue, yet, found no loose grounds!

Anyways, I probed the fuse box and was getting crap for readings! I took out every fuse and tested them and had good resistance on all of them. I checked the holders in the box and was not! It took only a sec to realize that the box was not being grounded! Someway, somehow, this whole time the box had gone without a ground! So, that redundant ground I had hooked up to the bottom of the box, I hooked up to the fuse box, and voilla! Lights at the dash!

However, I still have a carb issue, as my second and fourth cylinders are not running. I pulled the plugs, and they are getting spark. So, after work tomorrow, I will pull the carbs and give them a good clean.
