    Did I get a deal on this?

    I just bought this to put in my 79 GS 750 since the old one is beat to hell.

    a) will it work with my bike? I saw it on the list of compatible rectifier/regulators on here but figured I'd ask as well.

    b) did I get a good deal?

          It will work. Most people look for some of the later models but you'll be fine.

              Remember- wire stator direct to R/R ( no headlight loop please) and ensure a good solid ground from R/R to battery negative .

                              Do you mean Rectifier/regulator? or are you looking for an actual Stator?

                              I have a Stator available from an 82 GS850G I have done static checks and it checks out fine, could not do running tests.

                                  So this is the one the Ebay seller is actually sending me, I noticed it was one of the reg/recs that were highlighted in blue on the list and the same seller happened to be selling this one as well so he just switched it out.

                                  I'm pretty sure I'd have been fine either way and he said he'd exchange it if I had to or if the condition is crappy.
