Doesn't FoxyBLankworthy ride a 650G? He's not on here much, but TCK knows him.

I wish I knew for sure if the G and the E tanks were interchangable, but I dont.
Perhaps you can find someone with a G to take some pics and measurements for ya?
    Thats what I would do..

No need to wonder and that's why it probably wouldn't start way back when you started this thread! When you get new petcock, make sure to check it's operation before you connect to carbs.
My mistake on tank hold down bolts- they all have two rear bolts, but I still think the G tank will fit the E

It is a faint smell of gas, but after my gas tank leak, everything does.

Will it be okay if I leave it in there and just not start the engine? I don't have a oil pan at the moment.

If so, check your oil too. A leaking petcock/carbs will allow gas into the cylinder, past the rings, and into the crankcase. This will dilute your oil and cause trouble if you run the engine in that state. Smell the oil and see if there is gas in there. If so, change it immediately.

Or, if the gas stays in the cylinder it will cause a hydrolock and could possibly bend a rod or worse.

Z1 will get OeM parts just like any other supply house. The only parts they stock however are what are on their site. However there have been a couple of occasions where I went to Z1 when other usual suspects said they couldn't get a particular prt and Z1 came through.

AFA I am aware, they do not sell OEM, but they may be willing to order them. Not sure they would be able to beat the price at GS Suzuki, though. As I suggested before, for these parts I would (and did) get genuine Suzuki parts. Cables are another item I would go OEM rather than Motion Pro, which tend to be less robust. Although there was another aftermarket cable brand that looked promising for a reasonable price, anyone remember that thread?

The engine side are expensive! $117 on the Z1 site.
