Whats the difference in these 2 plugs?

I'm curious, and sorry if this has already been discussed. What is the difference in the NGK D8EA and B8ES. According to this chart: http://members.dslextreme.com/users/...uki_Specs.html mine takes the D8EA.

    Just curious.

Just to clarify: The B8ES is a "standard" sized plug that takes a 13/16" spark plug socket. The D8EA is the "slim" plug that takes an 18mm socket. I have only seen the D8EA on the 16 valve engines, which is what you have.

Cool, thanks guys! The picture and explanations cleared it up for me. I was just curious because I saw that most were using the B8ES for their bikes and the online dealer that I got my plugs from showed my bike using the D8EA.

            Thanks again!
