    Coil ID

My 82 650G has what seem like non-standard ign coils, marked with part # 33410-31311, anybody got an idea as to what model they come from? Need the clips which hold the plug leads in place. PO had a combo of electrical tape and fine baling wire, sort of, holding the leads in place, not kosher. I've used Babbitts and Boulevards sites to no avail.

A google search on "33410-31311" shows the coil fits on a bunch of different GS models, most in fact, starting in 1983. http://www.2wheelpros.com/oem-parts/...1311-part.html

The clip you need isn't available, so it's improvise time.

Think I'm gonna go with old faithful, black 4" zipties, yeah, you're right, Ed, more plastic unobtainium.
