    gauge console questions

    how do you take the tachometer and speedometer apart
    i would like to ad a white background to them as well as green lights LED instead of red can anyone help me with this i dont wanna screw it all up and have to get new EVERYTING!!!!
    pictures will help alot!

    To get at the insides of those gauges, your choices are to cut the plastic housing apart, or uncrimp and recrimp the bezels.

      I would start by studying a parts diagram so you can see how it comes apart, and more importantly how it goes together. I would be that there are white bulbs in there that shine through a colored plastic, so if you change colors it would be the plastic not the bulbs. I'm pretty sure you can match up the bulbs at an auto parts store, but good luck finding colored bulbs. The gauge faces should be a sheet of plastic so once you get it out you can get creative with color schemes. If you figure out a way to do this POST PICS PLEASE.
