Dyna 2000 Tach wiring GS 1100ES

The ES uses the electronic tach. Having some trouble on where exactly to hook the Dyna 2000 tach wire.

Wiring diagram shows a green wire leading from the tach but I'm not sure where to splice it in at.

Should I trace it down to where the original ignition plug is and attach it there?

    Thanks,

    Nic

Oh nevermind, I guess I was misreading the instructions. I had assumed the wires from the dyna harness would need to match colors on the stock wiring harness, however the green wire off the tach doesn't touch the coils, but feeds front signal lights and the license plate light.

There is a b/w wire that used to attach to the stock 2/3 coil that goes all the way back to the dash tachometer.

The b/w should be the one I connect to.
