    Name that rectifier

    Got this off a 78Gs1000. Allegedly brand new and looks it but there is no brand or part number. Any ideas? I haven't tested it but assume its an electric style shunt RR.

    I don't need it and am trying to price it fairly for someone on here to benefit.

    Failing an ID I guess $30 is probably the fair price?

      Non OEM style, aftermarket combined R/R and appears to be shunt style.

                                              Agreed that is probably what he has done. The feedback seems reasonable though.

                                              Seems VERY similar in size to those stock ones on the 82gS850 and the 83gs750 (others too most likely but I have no direct experience. ) with similar size heatsink etc.

                                              Whilst those smaller stock RR's work fine they don't seem to have the longevity of some of the bigger ones (physically bigger).
