Ive got a bone stock 80 GS1100 with 18000 miles bone stock except jetting, K&N filter & a V&H 4-1 on it that runs perfect. Would there be any benefit to putting a set of green Dyna coils and new wires on it ? Just happen to have a set Im not using

It doesn't take that long to put them on. Do it and then answer your own question. I will bet you $1 that you will notice the difference. Cold starts and throttle response will be improved at the very least. Please report back if you do it. Dar -

His stock coils are 3ohm. So are the green Dyna's.
I'd be very surprised if you notice a real difference if your wires are in good shape.
Getting full voltage to the coils usually makes more of a noticeable difference...1980 GS1000G - Sold
