    dyna coils primary terminal?

    I am doing the coil relay mod on my 80 GS1100. I have the green Dyna coils on it. Is the primary terminal the top or bottom?

      it doesn't matter, you should also flow some solder into those nice shinny connections before they oxidize.

              One wire is the signal from the ignition the other is key-on power for the coils. You relay mod needs to go to the power wire. IIRC, the two terminals are interchangeable on dyna coils.
