My brake light works with the front hand lever but not when I use the rear pedal. Can anyone help?

Check for voltage at rear brake switch (ignition ON)- one terminal will be 12 volt at all times, other terminal will be 12 volts when brake is applied. A multimeter is a must for suzuki owners.1981 gs650L

also make sure the rear switch is connected to the pedal by a small spring.
that operates the switch1978 GS1085.

They also are adjustable. It may be out of adjustment.Comment
