1100GK fuel level sending unit resistance range

Am getting trying to get the gas gauge working. Am starting with the fuel level sending unit & working my way back to the gauge. What is the range of resistance the sending unit goes through in it's whole range?

      Half: approx 25-40 ohm
      Empty : approx 100 - 120 ohm

A Clymer manual says the range is 0.5 to 118 ohms. Using my own meter when I tested it, the fuel gauge range was 11 ohms at full, 110 ohms at empty. Based on the people who have responded already, this is consistent. A high ohm reading means empty (100+), the low ohm reading means a full tank (say 10 or less).
