    1979 GS550 - Coil and Contacts upgrade

    Hi,

Hope you're all well. Having fun on my bike ;-)

I want to upgrade the ignition, I think I have stock/original coils and contact breakers.

I have searched the forums and can't seem to find any recommendations. (I am in the UK but happy to order form the US ;-)

What are the best upgrade routes?

New Coils? Dyno kits? What model? What OHM resistance?
Spark plug upgrade? New leads?? Dyno timing to replace the contacts? What model?

    Thanks as always.

lots.....easier starting, more reliable (no more adjusting points) smoother, probably feel a bit pokier as well. stick some new NGK plugs in there while you are at it......
