    sense wire

It looks to me like the sense wire from a honda regulator rectifier tees into the wire going to the brake light I am very new to wiring but i am sure I can crimp on spade connectors but I am not sure how to make a tee or am I not understanding the diagram

You just want to firmly attach the sense wire to that connector ( the one coming from harness to the switch,NOT the connector that runs to brake light ). crimping is ok, soldering is better. After testing. best to waterproof your new connection.

Tom is correct in stating a soldered connection is best but you can also use scotchlocks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJn-8cRkk-s which is even easier.

      Good luck with it.

        You have right idea.
But instead of thinking of how to "tee", think of making a "Y" har har har.
Two wires into one connector. .....

And that org/grn wire to the rear brake swtich is a good place, because it is switched power, and is close to the R/R.
Although the existing are "bullet" connectors, not spade connectors. So, need to make a "Y" with the bullet connectors.
