I brought a used GS 450 cheap. The feed wire from the + side of the battery was missing, so I took one off of my parts bike and connected the harness ( throiugh the fuse ) to the pos. side of the solenoid. 2 problems, all the electrical works except the starter button. Engine will crank when solenoid is jumped. I used my test light and found I had power going through the handle bar on/off switch and when in the on position through the push button switch.The schematic shows a starter disconnect switch. Where is that?Also I seem to have lost spark!! HELPP

Likely a wiring problem after on/off kill switch- bad connections or wiring.The basic starter disconnect switch is clutch handle area.1981 gs650L

Well I fixed it!The entire problem was just a bad connection. I ended up cleaneding every connection on the bike just to play it safe.Comment
