regulator rectifier numbersI am looking at some SH530-12 r/r s and was wondering what the letter/number means after the SH530-12 One has SH530-12 T2.6 others have a larger number? how does this affect using one on a gs1100? thanks! Tags: None Tags: None

Don't know, but the SH- 530's that I have seen usually came off kawasakis and tended to be about 2/3 the size of the typical Shindengens of 80's vintage. If this is the case, I'd think you should look for the full size model for your gs1100- more heat dissipation!1981 gs650L

 Hi,

You'll need a spec sheet for that kind of information. I tried Googling it but I don't have time right now to really research that part. Instead, here's a list of r/r units that are known to work with our bikes.

 Honda CBR1000RR 06-07 Shindengen SH678B 12V 35 Amp rating, 15.1 V
Honda CBR1000RR 08 Shindengen FH-008EB 12V FET 40 Amp rating (with wire tails and plugs)
 Honda CBR1000RR 08 Shindengen FH-014AA 12V FET 50 Amp rating
 Honda CBR1000RR 05? Shindengen SH775 12V Series 35 Amp rating, 14.0 - 15.0V

 thanks!

According to your master list, those 530-12 shindengens should work on my bike!
I am going to try one anyway and put the output directly into the positive on the battery with an inline fuse to protect things as people suggested.
