gsxr gauge conversion question

Hi all,

putting a gauge cluster from a 93 gsxr on my 83 1100 es. I have pretty much everything sussed out, except the temp gauge. Any body who has done this conversion know the which wires hook to which? the colors don't correspond. Sorry this is so vague, i'm at work, i will get some more specifics up when i get home to look at it, hoping someone would know off the top of their heads.....johnkat perhaps?

you probably need to use the sensor that matches that gauge; you would need top check the manual for the corresponding resistance ranges. The connections would be in there as well.
