I'm putting one on my 550 which has only the one single fuse. It should work, but it will be a little more work to separarte out the circuits.Originally posted by gspower View PostI'd like to put an order in but I'm running a GS425 and wanted to make sure someone else has done this before. I'm not sure I even have a fuse box on the old bike. Will this help me? This project is going to be the end of me.

I'm seeing a lot more work coming in the near future on other moto projects , so lead times for the SSPB will likely lengthen in the future. I'm running out of the diagonal tabbed version, but still have a few symmetrical tabbed version. Most of my reserve is the tabless versions.

Dan,Originally posted by salty_monk View PostThere's always a way.... With the SH775 it doesn't leave much room on the panel. I can extend it but then it would stick out below the side panel.
It maybe that I instead move the flasher & perhaps the started solenoid... that's an option too.

Ed's bike has the full size fuse box and fitted the SH-775 but without the bulky connector. . Not sure why the side panel is so different to the skunk.

Dan, if it doesn't fit on a Skunk you can always update to the later (1980?) 'E' panel.
This is a 1979 GS1000L panel. It might work as well.

Nessism? That's good... Once he has it figured out I know where to go to fit mine...

Ed has a Cooley with full sized fusebox and SH775. But apparently it is different to a skunkOriginally posted by salty_monk View PostAnyone else go a Skunk yet? I had a look the other weekend, things are pretty tight under there. Might have to mount it where the airbox used to be somehow...
