'81 1100e -so, my battery was getting weak and would crank, but wouldn't fire unless i trickle charged all night. she left me stranded yesterday,so i put a new battery in. ran like a swiss watch until today, i'm cruzing along and she just dies.totally dead. the only thing that comes on is the neutral light,and the main ground wire that connects next to the battery box is cooked and burned off the terminal. Any body got any ideas? And thanks......Ramos......

Your charging system has problems. Go to BassCliff's web site and check out the section on checking your electrical system. Follow the instructions to the letter, record the result, and post the results. -
