Harness interchange question

I tried looking it up on Boulevard to no avail. Just picked up a 78 1000e which had a windjammer and altered wiring. Instead of splicing in my own connections to replace the ones that were altered, I was wondering if I could use any of the harnesses I have lying around. I have a 78 850, 77 750, and 83 850. Would any of these work?

Possibly the 79 850 as it has the 1st gen self cancel turn signals. NONE of them will work without some sort of modification.

No 78 model year 850 was made.
