I see a new coil test tutorial coming on. This is kind of like the elusive Phase B stator tests where you can have temperature dependent shorts between phase to phase or phase to ground.

It's on my to do list now. I wasn't sure where to start looking, but after hearing you're having scarily similar issues I will run it. Now, where is that damn multimeter...
