    GS850 Coil Mounting

I've been having a problem with wifey's '82 GS850GZ. It appears the tank is rubbing on the coils. I have all the correct rubbers for mounting the tank, the PO somehow lost? the rear tank pad and I replaced the round rubbers due to oblong holes. I just had a brainwave, please tell me the high tension leads come out of the BACK of the coils and not the front?

    Yep, "back" is correct.

Ah, thank you. The "curse of the previous owner" raises its ugly head again.
