    Spark plug caps?

Looking to replace the original spark plug caps on my 82 GS1100GKz2 with aftermarket caps. What, if any brand is better/best and what ohms resistance should I use? 1 or 5 ohms?

Get the originals, they're cheap and they're good.

      5 K
      that is
      5 thousand ohms, each.

      NGK

      XB05F (quantity 2)
      VB05F (quanity 2)

Is what I have used on GS1100GK and I belive 850G.

I have the NGK caps per the NGK application chart and they work fine.
The internals of the OEM plugs corrode over time. The tiny springs in mine were rusted very badly.

Thanks, X/V which one goes to which cyclinder? I also checked out your sweet rides, I like how you have the windshield cut on the GK.

Long ones inboard, short ones outboard.
