Hello fellow GSers! I am looking for some possible information about part numbers for a 1981 GS1000G Left Handle Switch, specifically the horn button. I have searched high and low but can't seem to find a parts fiche that list the headlight, blinker, horn controls. Any help or information would be appreciated, as my horn button just broke!

Replace the WHOLE switch housing unit because they just don't sell the pieces. -- you can exchange internal parts but you'll have to ruin one to fix the other - if at all possible.

they are out there if you look hard enough, this one is for a 82 GS1000S, but it might fit
it says starter button but it cross references as a horn button as well.
or this one may fit..........
i think most horn and starter buttons are the same anway1978 GS1085.

Thanks! Kiwi, I'd rather not pay full price for new LH controls, but I will have to if I can't find another solution. In the meantime, I've found a some possibilities on eBay...Comment
