83 1100E speedo install on an 82 1100E

Does the 83 1100E instrument cluster plug right in and work, on an 82 1100E. I haven't pulled either off yet, the only difference I see is the speedo.

Yea, that needle stop at 85 mph, is tied into a governor to keep the needle from breaking. One of the little know differences between the 82 and 83 GS1100E harnesses.
