    1978 GS1000E Indicator problem

    Hi

I cannot get the indicators to work on my restoration project and suspect it is the indicator control unit ( the black box with two plugs sometimes referred to as the CDI).
Is there a way to test this box rather than taking a gamble...Jim

If the signals are messing up, most likely that unit is bad.

    Pricey at $367

Only by those sellers on Ebay who haven't a clue what it is.

You could send it to me and I'll test it on my GS1000E.

I have a serviceable test platform.

Yeah, there's a big pond between us. Too bad my friend.
