    has my fuse box been upgraded?

    it appears so. just was cleaning up some electrical bits and wanted to check for dirty connections in there.

      It is a god unit, just keep it clean. No need to get inside as all of the internal contacts are straight brass connections from spade input to fuse holder.

      Spray with some DeOxit, and/or use dielectric grease on all external contacts.

      you can also pry the back off and see what is in side. As long as you can get the cover glued back on.
