    Oil light staying on fix.

Thought I'd share, a good heads up for those of us who are not so familiar as we could be (but will be one day!) with GS.

After I'd eliminated the switch as the culprit in the 'oil light staying on' saga, a friend helped track it down and it turned out to be a pinched wire. I replaced the chain and sprockets recently, and moved the wires running to the switch just enough for them to be troublesome. I checked them and sure enough there was a bared wire (green and yellow). It was an old injury and easily fixed with a clean up and insulation tape.

The wires to the switch are VERY SNUG FITTING behind the countershaft sprocket cover and have a little bit of play in them, so be aware. I'll probably forget next chain and sprockets change...
