Left hand control switch for 78 gs550

Anyone know which models and years had left hand control switches that are compatible with a 78 GS550?

I have found several old 78 ones for sale but they are generally all in the same state of decay as the one I currently have - looking for something a bit newer and less weather beaten.

Other years/models might be remarkably similar and even work quite well, but there is something about this particular part number that makes it unique to these bikes. That unique item might be something as simple as a font change in the lettering.

You can still buy the plastic bits and screws for the outside of the switch. That and a bit of paint should make them look pretty good. That switch for the 550 looks just like the one on my '78 and '79 1000.
