    custom taillight wiring

I am pulling my hair over a 3 wire taillight that I can't get working. It has a red, yellow and black wire. The harness has grey, white, brown and two grounds (b/w). Any ideas what goes to what? Thanks

Do you have a multimeter? You can find out if you have power running through the harness if you do. Im assuming you had a tail light working on it before hand?

Draw a schematic instead of "straws"

your bike wiring has three none earths as you have a stop a tail and a park light sorry not sure on what colour is which
connect earth of new light (black) to b/w turn on lights and find the live and connect to the dullest lighting of the new taillight
then lights off foot on brake and find live and connect to brightest lighting wirer
tape up left over wirer to stop it earthing

A picture is worth a 1000 words, in this case more.
