    How to check your ignition coil

    i was made this circuit to test ignition coil

    the basic circuit is the following



    the controller is based on 555 ic









    and this is the video of my testet on real life

    So the coil goes where R6 is, correct?

        Interesting how the far spark plug's spark was in exactly the same spot the whole time, while the near one was jumping all over the place. Wonder why?

            i think that is because the spark plug is old and have a lot of carbon on it.
