Hello all, just a quick question, is there a reg/rec replacement that I can get for my gs450 that is new? Some kind of aftermarket? I really don't want to take a stab in the dark for an eBay one. Any info would be great. thanks.

Go the SH775 but you'll have to be creative about where to mount it if your 450 is stock or close to it... it's a hell of a lot larger than the stock one!Comment

If you're looking for cheap and easy, look on eBay for a R/R from a GS500. It will bolt in the exact same location, but the wires might need some attending to.
Not as nice as a series r/r, but I've never had an issue with mine.Comment

I run the SH775 and like it quite a bit, (as much as one could 'like' a R/R). As Pete pointed out, it is a heck of a lot larger than the OEM one!Comment
