Upon further reading, I'm looking into doing the coil relay mod while I have everything apart.. Good idea?
Spark plug wire ripped... OUCH! What now?

Ok awesome thanks Missile99! From my notes the left hand side coil is for cylinder 1+4 and the right hand side coil is for 2+3.

You can have the 1+4 coil on the right side if you want, but OldVet66 gave you the correct color wires to hook them up properly if you didn't have them identified.
Coil relay mod is a good idea if you need to gain some voltage. I did. Carry a spare relay with you if you go that route.Erik

Thank you all for the words of wisdom !
After a few long shakedown runs with the new coils, I must say-- WOW!! Such a huge difference in the bike overall. Way easier starts, great idle and no need to warm the bike up for 5 minutes before riding, snappy throttle response, cleaner sounding all around, and definitely an increase in power all the way up the revs.
Grinning ear to ear the entire ride a plus
Highly recommend these Green Dyna Coils for anyone looking to breathe a little life into their bike.

No problem. We're glad to help. It's good to hear about great results. The Dyna Green coils are recommended by me too. Enjoy the riding season !!
