    Bike Suddenly shuts down

This just happened to me today as I came to a stop at a light. I removed the side cover, tapped the fuse panel a couple of times and then it started up. Not sure what this is leading to.

    Thanks for the advice!

Has happened to me in the past. Just have to go over every plug, wire and fuse, in that area cleaning and looking for signs of bad connections. You may never find what it was it will just go away - for a while anyway.

Mine did the same thing a few times. Pulled the fuse panel and popped open the back and discovered the connections had loosen up over the years and had a little bit of corrosion, bought a new one and no more problems. This would be a good time to upgrade to Posplayr's fuse panel replacement.

Stuff I've done to my bike 1100E front end with new Sonic springs, 1100E swing arm conversion with new Progressive shocks installed, 530 sprockets/chain conversion, new SS brake lines, new brake pads. New SS fasteners through out. Rebuilt carbs, new EBC clutch springs and horn installed. New paint. Motor runs strong.
