    Connecting 2 Horns

Utilizing the Horn Mod on BikeCliff's site (http://members.dslextreme.com/users/...stall_gert.pdf), how do I then incorporate a second horn?

    Thanks,

Some relays have 4 pins, some 5. The fifth pin might be numbered #87a. This is not a problem,
simply ignore this pin. Some 5-pin relays might have a second #87 terminal. Again, not a problem,
you can ignore the extra pin or use it to run a separate wire to a second horn.

    Quoted from that how-to.

Horns are in parallel, blue wire goes to both horns. Both are grounded .

I have the the 5-pin relay, so just connect the 2nd horn to 87A and ground it. Thanks!

If you connect your second horn to the 87A pin, you are going to get a surprise when you turn the key ON.

I didn't see the reponses to this thread and I did get a big surprise. So, I need a new relay with two 87 ports?

No just wire the horns in parallel to the same 87 pin.
