I'm a little confused because most setups are on shop bikes so they don't have things like neutral indicators, gear indicators, or fuel gauges. I'd like to keep my creature comforts and simplify my electrical. This seems like the tool for the job, I'd just like to know if its possible to keep a near stock function from this box.

Anyone using the Motogadget M-Unit?
I've been thinking about getting one of these little guys, but I'd like to see some actual installs.
I'm a little confused because most setups are on shop bikes so they don't have things like neutral indicators, gear indicators, or fuel gauges. I'd like to keep my creature comforts and simplify my electrical. This seems like the tool for the job, I'd just like to know if its possible to keep a near stock function from this box. -

See SSPB in my signature; It does most of what the M-Unit does and retains all of the same functionality. There is installation instructions in the second link so you can see what is involved. There's no doubt about the motogadget stuff in terms of neat-ness!!
I'm just concerned with the quality of life after the install. I'm not really looking for a custom bike feel.
