    1982 GS1100EZ sidestand indicator switch.

If anyone can snap a pic of the sidestand on their '82 1100E, I would appreciate it. The spring to the sidestand indicator switch fell off and I want to make sure I get it back in the right place. I thought it shared the same post as the stand spring, but it seems a tight fit.

    Thanks.

Bump, any body out there who can take a pic of the spring location for the side stand indicator switch on their '82 GS1100E?

    Thanks.

No idea whether the one on an '82 850GL would be the same, but I can get a picture of that, if it helps any.

They might be similar enough to give you a clue.

Perfect, That's where I thought it might go, but seemed a little flakey to be attached to the other spring. But it did not fit the post.

          Thank-you.

Good thing he had those for you. I just looked in my Photobucket stash and found one from my wife's bike, but it is a completely different switch. There is a lobe on the top of the stand the pushes on a plunger, instead of pulling on one, to activate the switch.

              Thanks for looking, though.

I'll have a look at mine and see if there's anything to photograph (mine doesn't work). I still owe you for finding me the owner's manual.

Yep, in the same position as the one in post #5. Thanks.
