    I just roll the vehicle in question into a parking lot on a foggy night and adjust to my liking....My father said headlight aim was a big deal during vehicles inspection many years ago.

      Those instructions might have worked when then only thing to worry about was a "hot spot", and all you had to do was keep it out of the eyes of oncoming traffic. With the lights that are in use today, there is commonly a sharp cut-off at the top of the beam, much like a fog light. It is easier to do an adjustment in a dark parking lot where you can see exactly where that cut-off is, rather than trying to do measurements on a wall.

      Let's face it, when you have a pattern like this, how hard can it be?

            At night when I see an oncoming vehicle and the driver is throwing their hands in front of their face, headlight is aimed just right lol.

            1980 GS 750E Bought new in Feb of 1980
            2015 CAN AM RTS


            Stuff I've done to my bike 1100E front end with new Sonic springs, 1100E swing arm conversion with new Progressive shocks installed, 530 sprockets/chain conversion, new SS brake lines, new brake pads. New SS fasteners through out. Rebuilt carbs, new EBC clutch springs and horn installed. New paint. Motor runs strong.
