81 Suzuki GS450 Coils

I'm trying to get an 81 gs450 running. I've finally got spark from one of the 3 coils I have. It's not very bright, but it's there. Finally! Now I'm trying to figure out where to get another coil.

So so my question: Where can I get a coil? What coils from other bikes will work? What about universal coils?

I purchased this a couple days ago, but it doesn't list an output voltage and I'm not sure if it will even work.

Look at coils for a gs500 on eBay. The wiring harness is slightly different and I think the mounts aren't exactly the same, but they work great and are usually cheap.

I have 2 extra coils off a gs750 not sure if they will work for your bike but i am sure someone on here could tell you if they will if interested pm me

Yep any 450 or 500 coils should work.

Those Dime City Cycle coils should work too, the key thing is the impedance of the input which is listed as 4 - 5 ohms.
