Interesting; what Polaris dealer in the UK was that? Last I looked, all the Polaris dealers in Europe were listing it at an outrageous price - like 200 Euros (and the ?stg equivalent).Hi just to confirm before I order one is this the model require for the GS850
4012941 Regulator-3PH 35 amp. Series 105c
Much more expensive than you pay in the U.S. I tried a couple of places there and with the postage it was not worth ordering it from the U.S. In the UK ?85 - with post ?90 ouch1!!
another question is can you buy the two plugs and there fittings seperate ?
i have noticed that over the last few days the ones advertised from Italy and Germany on eBay have jumped up in price making those more expensive ice post than the one from the Polaris dealer here in the UK .
thanks
<edit>
Well now; there's a thing - the UK dealers have woken up to the grey imports and cunningly dropped their prices to be not worth anybody's while bringing their own in.
And from there...

Some day, the prices in UK/Europe will be the same as the US.
<guffaw>
Tis the old caper - take the dollar price and stick a ? in front. Then add 30-50% for pricing in RoI.
Rule of thumb, but it's fairly true for a lot of stuff.
Except fuel and oil, and a lot of car parts, funnily enough.Last edited by Grimly; 07-27-2015, 04:01 PM.Dave

Some local results in:
From NI: stewartmcelheran.co.uk (Bryce Stewart)

So; getting it within the RoI is surprisingly competitive. I might just do that, for my next purchase.The price for that item will be ?76.76 plus 23% VAT plus the cost of delivery to you. It will take about a week to get it.Dave

Most of their customers will be farmers, many of whom will be VAT registered, so don't feel the sting as much.
It's a sod though. Even at that, as a private purchaser, it's very close all-in to the cost of buying one from a US dealer, shipping, and possible duty. Plus, I would get a year (or possibly more, under EU law) warranty and a local-ish place to return it to.Dave
