d8ea for my 1980 gsx 750 et?
hi all sure your are all tired of plug questions, am just not sure if there are any variations between british and American models... when put plugs in at beginning of summer put in dr8es, but don't need the resistance in the plug, as I have since found out. if you could let me know if d8ea the best be appreciated! cheers.Tags: None -

But check that you have resistors in your plugs, a PO might have removed them. (I removed them on my 850 because they were burnt to a crisp.) If so, then you should use the resistor-enabled spark plugs.Comment

There are multiple generations of 750, the first generation 8-valves used B8ES, the second (and third?) gen (16 valves) used D8EA. You have a second-gen.
In any case, your service manual will tell you for sure.Comment

NGK D8EA #2120 is all I use in my bike. Did use the Split Fires for a few years, though can't get those any longer.Comment
