No. Replace the metal spacers with nylon spacers. You may also have to clearance the frame mounts for the coils. Since i'm gonna do some more troubleshooting after i finish making dinner here in a bit, i'll post a couple photos of what talking about

I apologize klylor for what I'm about to say... Your problems may have solved my problems/solidified my ideas on why my cylinders 1&2 are not firing. I have my carbs off and about to dip and just replaced my suuuuuuuper leaky petcock. I know I have solid spark on all cylinders and when i switch 1&4 and 2&3 it doesn't help. Soon I'm assuming that it must be the leaky petcock.
