Oh yes, I got to bring some Duct Tape
IM002185.jpgOh yes, I got to bring some Duct TapeSome of the more interesting discoveries I have made was doing stuff that I shouldn't have and stuff that shouldn't have worked.
To continue in the Apollo 13 spirit, you will need duct tape. You'll only know why when it happens
For the record I repaired a chain with a nail that got me the last ten miles to a ferry home before France shut down.Comment

The thrill of victory, or the agony of defeat. Fixing your bike and making it home is the ultimate thrill of victory, and calling home for help is the ultimate agony of defeat. Through the kindness of a fellow GS resources member I now have a spare T.P.I. box for my 86 GS 550L, that I tested it and it works. I will keep it in my vetter. Just like Apollo 13, you never really know what you may need out there on the road. Load up some duct tape and I am ready for cross country travel. Some of the more interesting discoveries I have made was doing stuff that I shouldn't have and stuff that shouldn't have worked.
