The thrill of victory, or the agony of defeat. Fixing your bike and making it home is the ultimate thrill of victory, and calling home for help is the ultimate agony of defeat. Through the kindness of a fellow GS resources member I now have a spare T.P.I. box for my 86 GS 550L, that I tested it and it works. I will keep it in my vetter. Just like Apollo 13, you never really know what you may need out there on the road. Load up some duct tape and I am ready for cross country travel.
