Replacing instrument glass?
Hello. I'm new to the forum and I can't seem to find a place that sells replacement glass for both the speedometer and tachometer. Anyone have any sources? Much appreciation!Tags: None

It's not available. You gotta buy a couple of used gauges and salvage them.Ed

Try a glass shop. I needed the glass replaced on these as the original was cracked. I took the broken one to a local glass shop and they duplicated it perfectly. The original glass was nothing special and was near identical to 3mil non-glare picture frame glass. They even managed to drill the hole for the trip meter. Worth a try.

The stock glass is slightly curved, not flat.Ed

That's what I did, took my cover down to a glass shop, he took the old plexiglass and did an outline on the new glass, cut it to shape and I sealed it in. looks great and won't fade. Did make the instrument cluster a bit heavier, though didn't cause any problems.Originally posted by Sandy View PostTry a glass shop. I needed the glass replaced on these as the original was cracked.
