GS1000 78/79 turn signal control unit... anyone got photo of one?

Hi, I own a 1978 GS1000E and Im experiencing the common problem with the indicators/turn signals not working. I am told that I need to replace my "turn signal control unit" to fix this problem. Fortunately I have been offered some used units, however each of the control units I have been offered ALL look different.
I would appreciate if somebody could send me a photo of this control unit (1978-1979)... preferably in situ on the bike if possible please. This will help ensure I buy the correct item. Many thanks!

there are two plugs, one has six wires, the other has four. you can see the wires coming out of the unit on the top right.

Hi, thats great, thanks very much for the photo.... May I also ask, exactly where is the control unit itself and how do I access it. I cannot see it in your photo, but is it under the seat?

Good luck finding one that works, unless it's from a trusted member on here of course. A lot of us do a fix with a couple of relays to fix this problem.

If I recall correctly, all those unit's had some sort of an issue. Flashes one side- no flash- no self cancel etc. I wish I had the time to build a test platform to see if any might be worth your trouble.

                  Brighton where?
